style decor. Visit a small relaxing rural town set in nature, 20 minutes
from the city
of Vernon, 1 hour from Kelowna International airport, 50 minutes
by West Jet) Economy flight service from Vancouver International Airport.
Beautiful down duvet bedding & quilts adorn each private room. Antique and wood furnishings are found throughout the manor. Local handmade soaps and clean linens are provided in the bathroom. Healthy meals are created using fresh herbs and vegetables from the organic garden.

Activity days will be organized to spend time with your Canadian hosts. Some activities include: Hiking, horseback riding, skiing/snowboarding, cross country skiing, sleigh rides, O’Keefe historical ranch, Asparagus theatre, Caravan farm professional theatre, fishing, swimming, vineyard tours and wine tasting, cheese & ice cream tours & tasting. There is kayaking and mountain bike trails in the area for outdoor enthusiasts. Silver Star Mountain Resort has 107 runs & 10 lifts. The mountain offers Mtn. biking in the summer. A shuttle service is available from Armstrong to Silver Star and back for a small fee.
ESL
lessons are taught at
home including situational conversation, grammar, and field
trips to practice English. A hands on series includes baking & cooking
lessons, (foccacia & herb
bread, tarts and pasteries) organic gardening, drying herbs, and soapmaking.
Rates are based on one week, two weeks and month long stays. Discounts
are available for longer periods of time.
